Fished with Skip Clement today on Tamiami trail. We had to drive through a fire and wait out a rain storm but it was well worth it. The glades were on fire along a section of trail. The fire was actually burning across the road and even catching the grass on the other side on fire. Luckily we made it through unscathed. Once we launched the boat in the water and got the ashes dusted out off the seats we caught 40 or so bass from 3:30 to 8. The average weighed about 2.5 lbs. The last hour of the day we had two doubles on fly!!
